"In the beginning of the 1700’s, the residents of the Contea di Mascali chose Puntalazzo, and more specifically on a height behind the village called "O Munti", as a site for constructing a large wine-making plant, at the same time a place for work, leisure and get-togethers and, thus, beloved by the entire population."

For those who love our land, its history and its people, its fragrances and its flavors, we wished to recreate the ancient wine-making plant of Puntalazzo, between Etna and Taormina, transforming it into the agritourism site La Pietra Antica O' Munti, collecting ancient traditions and offering them today in restored rooms without sacrificing the essence of the historic structure, improving the interior and exterior areas where we welcome our guests, lovers of rural tourism, with every convenience.

Tranquility, nature, landscapes, authentic flavors of Sicily: this is what you will find at La Pietra Antica O' Munti. The parking area where you leave your car is free and you can tour the area by mountain bike of the agritourism site, or stroll around the green 4000 sq m estate of La Pietra Antica or enjoy the landscape that embraces the horizon from the sea of Taormina to the Monti Nebrodi and the Calabrian coast and, again, to Etna volcano, from the panoramic terrace of the restaurant and of the gardens of the complex.

The Pietra Antica O' Munti obtained environmental certification ISO 14001 and further demonstrates its sensitivity to clean energy with the installation of solar panels.
