The kitchen of our restaurant “La pietra antica O’ munti” is typically Sicilian, homemade, simple, genuine and of high quality.
In our “Antipasto du’ Munti” (Appetizer du’ Munti), which is rich in vegetables from our garden and from our local farms, there is generally no shortage of the characteristic “caponata” and our “Arancino du’ Munti“
The first courses are made of fresh pasta of our own production and also the classic “maccarruni” are hand shaped with the traditional steel needles.
The main courses are meat-based and you can choose from meatballs cooked in lemon leaves, sausages and pork generally barbecued, the “falsomagro” (stuffed beef rolls), sweet and sour rabbit, the “capocollo” with porcini mushrooms and Etna apples sautéed with Nerello Mascalese wine.
And to delight the palate: the sweet pistachios, almonds, and hazelnuts cakes
